Pure honey will start making crystals with time. Whereas, artificial honey will stay like a syrup even if it is stored for long time.

3. Thumb Test

Place a drop of honey on your thumb. If it spreads and spills down it is artificial and if it stays attached to your thumb it is real.

Take a glass of water and add 1 table spoon of honey. Do not mix it. Just observe, pure honey will settle at the bottom of the glass, whereas artificial honey will start dissolving in the water.
